Okay I miss blogging. So much.

Reason why I haven't been going online is, yeah, busy as always, and recently my mum refused to talk to me for slightly above a week. Why? Surprise, surprise, because of my results.

So I was truly befuddled as to why the sudden silence. I mean, no pre-outburst or anything, just silence. It started the day after I brought home my report book and she said something about how bad my results were and I said, " Rilek ah!" Apparently, according to my tuition teacher, that was what pissed her off. But I didn't mean it what. I mean, I know I haven't exactly improved dramatically since term 1, so don't you think I know that I have to work harder??

And it's not like my L1R5 plunged to 30+ again. So what I was saying was Rilek ah you don't have to push the facts in my face right.

All's well now. She's talking to me like normal. Thank God. It was kinda childish lah, she didn't talk to me, so I didn't talk to her. My dad was especially civil to me the whole time. Hmm.

So anyway. Day before yesterday was Saturday, which was Mr Fadhli's wedding. I tell you, it was the prettiest wedding I've ever been to. Seriously. It was held at Taman Warisan, and Mr Fadhli kindly invited me to take photographs the whole day. I was like the amateur, cos there were two other photographers [this makcik and this really scary-yet-cool-looking rasmus mcr-ish dude] and they had those cool professional cameras while I was stuck with a totally unglam BenQ digicam.

Anyway, went early, at around 11-ish with Kinnie and came to find not one familiar soul. Haha we must have looked so lost, and so sua ku. We were ooh-ing and aah-ing at the decor which was like, wow. Okay so there was the outdoor reception, which was under this white satiny marquee with billowing curtains all over. The chairs were pretty in their simplicity, draped in thick white fabric and fastened with a gold tassel thing.

The tables were draped in white too, with a vase of, get this, real velvety red roses as a centerpiece. Shimmering crystal chandeliers floated above arcs of white roses at the reception table. A red carpet lay across the granite tiled floor, leading to the hall, where most people went to dine in air-conditioned comfort.

The hall was lavishly decorated, with the same chair and tables, this time the tables had delicately embroidered tablecloths. Sadly some people really didn't know how to eat without spilling half their dalchar on the cloth. The white was set off by the dark mahogany of the hall, and when you enter, the first thing that catches your eye is of course, the pelamin.

The pelamin was truly a sight to behold. It took up the whole stage, and was a stunning arrangement of white roses, faux candles and gold embellishments. My jaw just dropped when I saw it lah.

The wedding couple's table was just as enchanting. White and gold china, huge wineglasses and elaborate bouquets... Like, wow. Again.

I took about 400 pictures. Giler eh. I didn't even feel the first 100.

The food was goooooooood. Normal wedding fare, you have your usual briyani and rendang [which was really good], achar and sambal prawn, with the addition of black pepper chicken and fried noodles. Yummy.

The dessert table was like, wow. It looked like a freaking hotel high tea arrangement. Visually enticing, but not THAT good, sad to say. Brownies, mini-croissants, pink and green talam, small pieces of cream cake, pastry cups filled with blueberry jam [the best-tasting of the lot], cornflake cups, petit fours and bubor hitam. Not bad ah.

The caterer guys weren't bad too Hehehehe ahem anyways.

Then the guests started streaming in and I was running around taking photos like nobody's business. I took a hell lot of random photos. But seriously, Taman Warisan is a great place for photo ops.

The wedding couple came at around half past two. Yes, I was there to take photos hahaha. Mr Fadhli was wearing a suit! But the striped tie spoiled it abit lah, didn't go with his sleek charcoal jacket. The bride, Shamyn, looked absolutely fabulous in gold. They went to sit at the pelamin and I think I took like 50 photos of them sitting at the pelamin.

Oh, forgot to mention, Ms Suzy came with her fiance [?] and Ms Zaleha. Cikgu Razilah was there with husband and daughter in tow. Cikgu Asnah was there, looking all regal in white. Cikgu Esfan was there too, with wife and both kids.. Omg Asyrani is cute as ever. As in Esfan's son. Yeah. Who else ah... Ain and Mas were there too. Yeap.

Took more photos.. Followed the couple around as they had an outdoor shoot with the makcik photographer. She was damn scary lah, ordering them around and whatever. I just kept out of the way and tried to take from.. err.. alternative angles. I have to ask permission from Mr Fadhli [who is away on honeymoon haha] if I can publish them on my blog first so yeah.

It all ended at around 5 or 6. I didn't know taking photos could be so tiring. I accidentally mashed one of the caterer guys' foot while taking photos of the pelamin. He was taking a photo of the pelamin too while standing behind me. I wanted to get a larger shot so I took a huge step behind and landed quite comfortably on his foot. Haha! Anyway, stepping on people's feet can lead to something else.. Found out his name is Azlan and yeah, the rest is history XP

Oh yah I didn't know I was so big! I lent Shikin my kebaya to wear with jeans because we were debating whether to wear full kebaya or kurung or just wear the top with jeans. We thought jeans would be improper, so we were like, fine full costume then. Then si Fadhli tu last minute told me that jeans can, so I wore jeans but Shikin already wore full kurung. So I brought extra kebaya top and jeans for her. And when she wore the kebaya, man it was the funniest sight ever cos the thing just HUNG on her like a black lembaga! Kekek siak! OKay lol sorry it doesn't sound as funny. You have to see it.

Anyway. Enough blogging. Tatas!

SYAF I AM

Okay, so I'm this girl right.

Who had big plans to change the world.
When I was young, I wanted to be either a zoologist, veterinarian or pilot.
I wanted to travel and help eradicate poverty.

And then when this girl grows up, she's all like, fack that!
She becomes guilty of things she never thought she'd have done.
She meets people of all shapes and sizes, some beautiful, some downright fugly.
Both inside and outside.
She becomes acquainted with some things called failure and commitment.
She realises love is as elusive as, perhaps, weight loss.

I let my inner demon out through my art.
Enjoy.
